Björn is a MD and PhD. The main objective of his research is to discover novel pathophysiological mechanisms underlying schizophrenia and mood disorders. Physiological and molecular processes in focus of the studies are especially the circadian clock machinery, the kynurenine pathway, and autoantibodies.
