Chia-Ying Chou is a postdoc in professor Carol Mathews’s research group at the University of California, San Francisco. She is also a part of the largest clinical trial on Hoarding Disorder to date. Volen got the chance to follow her work with indivudals with hoarding closely and learn some important points on treatment for hoarding. Our lab’s treamtent study for hoarding is just around the corner and we are sure that all the new insights from this trip to California will be beneficial for our coming study participants.
